We have leased business printers with Canon for 20 years.We have never needed a service call, and finally wised up and bought our own printer (will pay for itself in 6 months).

Canon, who has milked us for all these years has suddenly turned aggressively rude and unhelpful. We notified Canon a month before end of lease that we were not renewing.

After lease ended, we contacted to ask when printer would be picked up (in past, with new contracts, a local Canon office came and picked up old printer).Was told that I should have read the fine print of the contract...needed to notify a different division of Canon...in writing....three months before end of contract, so now will be required to pay three months rental on printer we aren't using, AND need to ship printer back to them at our expense with a long list of shipping requirements.
